GCCF REGISTRATION POLICY FOR SELF PERSIAN CATS

Agreed/effective from February 2001

FULL REGISTER

Self coloured Persians with Championship or Provisional status which have in their pedigrees within three generations Persians in colours shown in the chart as being acceptable for this register. Both parents to be either Full Register or at least third generation Supplementary Register

SUPPLEMENTARY REGISTER

Self coloured Persians with Championship or Provisional status which have in their pedigrees within three generations Persians in colours shown in the chart as being acceptable for this register.

REFERENCE REGISTER

Self coloured Persians which have in their pedigrees within three generations Persians in any non-accepted colour or pattern or cats from any other breed section.

Self coloured Persians which have in their pedigrees any unregistered parent, grandparent or great-grandparent.

Registration requirements: Self Coloured Longhaired cats of Persian type fulfilling the the general requirements shown in the Register definition and that are the progeny of parents, grandparents or great-grandparents of the following breeds shall be placed on the register indicated.

Self Persians (1, 2, 2a, 2b, 3, 4, 5, 50b, 50c only)

Tortoiseshell & Intermingled Persians (11, 11b, 11c, 13 only)  

 

  

Persian Breed Section cats in the following breed groups:

Tabby (excluding green-eyed breeds)

Bi -Tri Coloured (excluding green-eyed breeds)

Silver group (excluding any green-eyed breeds)

Colourpoint

 

 Any green-eyed breed from the Persian Breed Section

Any cat from any other Breed Section

Any unregistered cat
