GCCF REGISTRATION POLICY FOR PERSIAN TABBY CATS

Agreed/effective June 2007

FULL REGISTER

Persian LH Tabby offspring of Persian LH Tabby to Persian LH in approved colours. Parents, grandparents and great grandparents to be listed in Full Register column.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGISTER

Persian LH Tabby offspring of two Persian LH, or Persian LH Tabby to Exotic SH variant in approved colours listed in Full or Supplementary Register column or where one or both parents has Reference Register Persian LH or Exotic SH variant or Exotic SH within three generations.

EXPERIMENTAL REGISTER

Persian LH Tabby offspring with Preliminary recognition of Persian LH parents listed in Full or Supplementary columns.

REFERENCE REGISTER

Persian LH Tabby offspring where one or both parents are a non-recommended Persian LH or Exotic SH variant. Offspring may be registered as Persian LH Tabby only when the preceding four generations is from the Breed Section, Long Hair Persian Type. Only cats with the preceding four generations from the Breed Section, Long Hair Persian Type, may have their offspring placed on the Supplementary Register if they are mated back to an approved Full Register Persian LH.
